A dhow is a traditional wooden sailing boat that has been used along the East African coast for centuries. Sailing on one is a quintessential Zanzibar experience - there's no better way to watch the sunset.
The cruise departs from Kendwa Beach on the north-west coast of Zanzibar. We'll pick you up from your hotel and bring you there in time to board.
We set sail around between 4:30 and 5:00 PM. With hotel transfer we will pick you up earlier depending on your area. The cruise lasts about 2 hours, perfectly timed to catch the sunset.
Local snacks and soft drinks are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included but are available for order in advance - please let us know the day before the tour if you would like to order additional beverages.
